Christian Behavior

2 Timothy 2:24-26: “And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. 25 Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, 26 and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.”

How should God’s people behave in these unsettled times? The apostle Paul tells Timothy: be kind, be patient, able to teach, be gentle, correcting opponents, praying for them that God may grant them repentance. Praying for God to capture their hearts that they may escape the snares of the devil.

The sun will come up Wednesday morning. God will continue to sit on His throne. We, His servants, will continue to share the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ to a world who is desperately searching for the Truth.
