Do you have a favorite alone time space? When I was young, it was a beanbag chair in my room. I could escape the noise of a house of eight for a little while, enjoy the solitude and refresh.
This morning, it is at my desk. Reading my devotional study on the book of Jonah. Collecting my thoughts. Gazing out the window, reciting my favorite “good morning God” verse. I think everyone needs a quiet place, a reflection time. It is good to be alone with God. Unburdening your heart, remembering that He is faithful and true. Singing quiet hymns of praise.
Psalm 143:8 “Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.”
