Friday=Fri-yay! Do the rest of the days get that same celebration? I’ve never heard someone call Monday=Mon-yay! or Thursday=Thurs-yay! Why does Friday get the celebration? Yes, it’s rhetorical. We’ve worked hard all week and the weekend is at hand. Plans are made. Alarm clocks are off. Playtime.
What if we changed our mindset. What if every day began with “yay,” no matter the day of the week. What if we changed our attitude towards our workdays. Giving thanks for each day we have breath. Using the most of every minute we have whether at work or play. So yes, it’s Fri-yay but let’s make every day a yay-day!
